Log procurement

The log sourcing areas of Keitele Group are located in Central Finland, North Savo, Southern Ostrobothnia (green areas on the map) and in a part of Lapland (orange areas on the map). The roots of Keitele Group are hence firmly in the close by areas. By sourcing the raw material locally, we are also doing our share in remaining the vitality of the areas by creating jobs and as stumpage earnings to the forest owners.

The Group’s own log procuring department consisting of highly skilled professionals does secure the availability of raw material in all market conditions. The annual purchasing volume of logs is over 2 million cbm.
